12th NADA Auto Show
The Nepal Automobile Dealers’ Association (NADA) kicked off the 12th series of the NADA Auto Show today at Bhirkuti Mandap Exhibition Hall. With many dignitaries from the association present, the Minister of Physical Infrastructures and Transport, Mr. Bir Bahadur Balayar, inaugurated the ceremony.
The NADA Auto Show has a reputation for introducing something new to the automobile loving public, and with the exhibition filled with cars and motor-bikes this year was no different, with all the major companies revealing something new for the Nepali Market.
The most anticipated reveal was of the Ford Mustang GT, and people flocked around the car to take pictures all day. Among the cars, the Mahindra Thar and the Peugeot 508 also created some buzz. The motor-cycle area also had big crowds, with companies like Royal Enfield, UM, KTM, Bajaj, Yamaha, Benelli and Honda showcasing their latest bikes.
The NADA Auto Show is a lot more expansive than just cars and bikes. With stalls for motor oils and batteries, it also has buses and trucks and even bulldozers on display. With a recent rise in the popularity of electric vehicles, there is a fair share of those around as well.
For those that want to look for potential purchases or acquaint yourself with the pieces of fine machinery, the NADA auto show is set to continue for 5 more days, through to September 3.
