5th Nepal DeathFest 2018 Dates Revealed

The 5th anniversary of the Nepal Death Fest (NDF) is going to be held on the 2nd and 3rd of March 2018 at the Reggae Bar in Thamel, Kathmandu. Dubbed the ‘Biggest and Sickest of South Asia’, the two day festival will consist of bands playing some Heavy Metal and celebrate the under-exposed genres like the Grind Core and Trash Metal.

Organized by Extreme Underground Metal Society Of Nepal (EUMSN) and Brutal Pokhara, the festival will continue its tradition of mixing international bands with local talents to entice the crowds into Headbangs and  Mosh Pits.

The Festival has a good mix of foreign representation, with bands from the Czech Republic, Romania and the USA and Egypt along with bands from India, Bangladesh and China. This will be the first time the foreign bands will be performing in the festival, as the festival tries to give the crowd a different experience each year.

The festival will start at the Reggae Bar in Thamel from 1 PM. The tickets at the door will cost Rs 2000 for two days or Rs 1000 for a single day. However, limited number of tickets are available for those willing to invest early; with the two day entry costing Rs 1500 and the single entry costing Rs 800.

The festival attracts Nepalese as well as foreigners as they get to witness great bands from all over the globe at a very affordable price. The merchandise from all the bands will also be available for sale during the event.
