Aero Bricks AAC Blocks
Aero Bricks Company Pvt. Ltd. announced the availability of their Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) bricks on June 23. In a press meet held by the company in Hotel Annapurna, Durbar Marg, the company’s Marketing Director and Executive Directors explained how the new product that is ‘better than traditional red bricks.’
Made from natural materials the brick is eco friendly and made from locally available resources. The AAC bricks can be used in commercial, industrial as well as residential site constructions and they are more fire and water resistant than traditional red bricks. They are also better sound and thermal insulators and 3 times lighter than their traditional counterparts.
Established in 2015, Aero Bricks Company’s factory is located in Chitwan and the facility is capable of producing 498 – 500 cubic meters of AAC bricks per day. The company follows international standards and to ensure quality test every batch in their on-site laboratory.
The AAC bricks is used in building just like traditional bricks but is cheaper to work with. Using AAC bricks, it was claimed that the overall cost of the construction can be reduced by 20%. This is said to be due to the less amount of other materials needed and the less breakage of ACC bricks which is said to be 2%-5% compared to traditional brick’s 10%-20%.
Aero Bricks Company ensured that the future of construction is with ACC bricks and being the first and only company manufacturing them, they said to make the bricks available in all the cities in Nepal.
