A preview of the bands performing at the Kathmandu Blues and Roots III
The Kathmandu Blues and Roots III is where we are headed this weekend for some good music.
The Kathmandu Blues and Roots III organised by Kathmandu Blues and Roots have a host of amazing bands perfroming on September 29, Saturday at Tangalwood, Tangal from 12:30 PM onwards. The performing bands consist of Mukti and Revival, Newaz, The Well (Texas, USA), The Midnight Riders, Kathmandu Cats and the Dirty Boogie Brass Band, Millons Addict, Illusions, Millions Addict, Gunla Baja and Ann So (France).
Here’s a preview of the bands.
Mukti and Revival – Nagarkot
We don’t know anyone who has grown up playing the guitar in Nepal and not idolised Mukti Shakya. With this band on stage, everythings going to be fantastic.
Newaz – Angel
Another band with an another living legend in Satish Sthapit. Yet another band that leaves you in awe everytime they’re on stage.
The Well – Mortal Bones
Hailed from Texas, USA, the band has come all the way to present some music that could make you hallucinate.
The Midnight Riders – Block Heels Shoes
Not many have the expertise, power, entusiasm and charisma. Here’s some proper blues for the big blues festival.
The Kathmandu Cats and the Dirty Boogie Brass Band – Crime Scene
Let’s jazz things up a little bit, shall we for the The Kathmandu Cats and the Dirty Boogie Brass Band are here to get it groovy.
