Over 50 extraordinary art-pieces and portraits sketched by a Japan-based Nepali artist Sanil Chitrakar was exhibited at Park Art Gallery, Pulchowk, Kathmandu, from October
29 till October 31.

Most of the displayed pieces were the portraits of football stars that contained brilliant mix of colours and a realistic touch. On visitors’ request, the artist also showcased his drawing materials, such as pencils and papers.

The 35-year-old gained instant fame from February 2017 when football legend Ronaldinho Gaucho took his Twitter account to upload a time-lapse video that depicted Chitrakar sketching his portrait.
