London’s LGBT Film Festival concludes
A series of short films from the British Film Institute’s Flare: London LGBT Festival was screened at the British Council Office in Lainchaur on November 4. The BFI Flare Short Film Festival is presented by the Blue Diamond Society (BDS) in partnership with the British Council as a part of the ongoing third edition of
Photo Kathmandu 2018 which upholds the theme of gender, patriarch, power, sexuality, and identity. The film screening will also be held at three colleges and will have both a pre and post discussion led by the Photo Kathmandu Arts and Education team to have an impactful conversation around the film content regarding he contemporary challenges for Nepali LGBTI community. The films shown were ‘We Love Moses’, ‘I Am A Woman’, ‘Crush’, ‘Strings’, ‘Take Your Partners’, ‘Balcony’, ‘Jamie’, ‘Where Are We Now’, and ‘Chance’.
