Team Nepal returns from Thailand with prestigious awards
Team Nepal bagged prestigious awards during ‘International Kids of the Year 2018’ and ‘Asia Pacific Prince and Princess 2018’ that were held in Phuket and Bangkok, Thailand, on July 2 and 6 respectively.
In ‘Asia Pacific Prince and Princess 2018’, the four-graded Unique Parajuli from Rajarshi Gurukul was announced as the winner and was decorated with titles such as ‘Most Popular’ and ‘Best National Dress’. In ‘International Kids of the Year 2018’, the nine-year-old secured the position of ‘1st Runner-up’ in his age category and bagged other awards, such as ‘Best Introduction’, ‘Best Dress’, and ‘Sports Challenge Awards’.
Similarly, the 8-year-old Ribya Tandukar from Galaxy Public School secured the position of second runner-up in both the pageants. The three-graded-student bagged the title of ‘Best Introduction’ at ‘International Kids of the Year 2018’ as well.
While 13-year-old Pranish Khadka, who is studying in grade eight at Rajarshi Gurukul, stood third in ‘Asia Pacific Prince and Princess 2018’, 11-year-old Palistha Maharjan, who is studying in grade six in the same school, stood third in her respective category.
Better Galaxy had coordinated and managed the ‘Team Nepal’. While Rojin Shakya had groomed the participants and choreographed their sequences, Lisa Shrestha had trained the participants for their talent rounds. The Creation, a fashion designing institute, had designed the wardrobe of the participants.
