Word Warriors recite poems from festivals to feminism

Poetry enthusiasts, including Hamza Iftikar from Pakistan, recited curated poems under the themes ranging from festivals to feminism during Word Warriors Live, a bimonthly poetry show, that was held on October 13 at Runway Café, Sanepa, Kathmandu.

For the event themed as ‘Patterns in the October Sky’, the poems were selected from a mix of poetry submissions open to everyone before the event which also included poems from the Word Warriors members. After the end of the poetry recital session, the floor was open for open mics where guests could register their names and perform.

The aim of Word Warriors Live is to create a platform for poetry performances, where people who love poetry can come together and help each other through constructive feedback.
